Terms and Conditions

Quote Validity

The quotation is valid for a period of 7 days from the date of receipt. After this period, prices may be adjusted based on supplier costs, and JJ Mobile Valeting reserves the right to amend any quotes.

Prices

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are not VAT chargeable as we are not VAT registered.

Unforeseen Works

Every effort is made to provide an accurate quotation. However, unforeseen problems may arise that need to be addressed before proceeding. Any such issues will be communicated upon arrival.

Delivery

JJ Mobile Valeting will use reasonable endeavours to deliver services within the specified time. However, JJ Mobile Valeting is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as force majeure, acts of God, war, terrorism, industrial action, or supplier failure.

Warranty

Only our ceramic coating packages come with a warranty. All work will be carried out by a Sonax Professional Detailer to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Deposits and Cancellations

We require a 50% deposit on all detailing packages and a 10% deposit on all valeting packages. Customers will receive a booking confirmation upon payment. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 7 days of the service date.

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the service date may still be subject to a cancellation fee, as specified in the booking confirmation or contract.

Payment – Domestic Customers

Payment is payable upon completion of the work. If payment is not made within 7 days, a 10% late payment fee will be added.
Payment – Commercial Customers

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not made within the agreed timeframe, statutory interest (8% plus Bank of England base rate) may be applied. Continued non-payment will lead to a claim in small claims court.

Contractors / Developers

Prior to work starting, JJ Mobile Valeting and the hiring company must agree on payment terms. The hiring company is responsible for payment, irrespective of their client’s payment dates.

Damaged Work

JJ Mobile Valeting is not responsible for damage caused by other trades on larger projects. The customer must seek recompense from the responsible party.

Vehicle Preparation

All rubbish must be removed from the vehicle prior to work starting, or additional charges may apply. Please note, for insurance purposes, JJ Mobile Valeting is not legally allowed to remove or fit car seats.

Mold

If mold is discovered during the service, JJ Mobile Valeting will cease work immediately. Additional charges may apply for mold remediation.

Liability for Property

JJ Mobile Valeting is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property left inside vehicles during valeting. Customers are advised to remove any valuable or sensitive items before service commencement.

Insurance Coverage

Customers must ensure their vehicle is adequately insured, especially if it is valuable or requires special coverage during valeting. JJ Mobile Valeting provides coverage for damage caused directly by our valeting services to the goods worked on.

Privacy and Data Protection

JJ Mobile Valeting respects customer privacy and handles personal information in accordance with data protection laws. Customer data will only be used for the purposes of providing valeting services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Modification of Services

Changes or modifications to the agreed-upon services must be mutually agreed upon between JJ Mobile Valeting and the customer. Additional costs or delays may apply depending on the nature of the changes.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

All valeting services will be performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring vehicle access, providing accurate contact information, and adhering to any specific preparation requirements beyond removing rubbish as communicated by JJ Mobile Valeting.

Limitation of Liability

JJ Mobile Valeting’s liability is limited to the value of the services provided. Except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, JJ Mobile Valeting shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Feedback and Reviews

JJ Mobile Valeting welcomes customer feedback and reviews. By providing feedback, customers agree that testimonials or reviews may be used for marketing purposes unless otherwise specified.
